At Love, Lisa, we strive to give you the earning potential you need for your business, whether you're a cottage industry or a large brick and mortar yarn retailer. We offer two tiers of discounts available for our retail customers. Please read the account details for each type, and make sure to check the checklist of documents needed to open an account.

Opening a Wholesale or Cottage Industry Account, Checklist

To open an account with Love, Lisa Handmade Knits, please submit the signed and completed Account Application as well as the following:

  • A photocopy of your current business license or state registration.

  • A photocopy of one of the following: a letter or form showing your Federal Tax Identification Number; a copy of a current W-9 form; a copy of Schedule C from your income tax return from the previous year.
    Note: You may download a W-9 form from the Love, Lisa Handmade Knits website.

  • A photocopy of your State Tax Resale Form with your State Tax Resale Number on the form. Please contact your state department of commerce or state department of business for this information.

  • If you conduct business in UT, ID, TX, OH, MI, or PA please provide a copy of the applicable tax exemption certificate. You may obtain a copy of these forms on the Love, Lisa Handmade Knits website for your state.

  • If you operate a web-based on-line store provide proof of the domain name registration.

  • A valid email address; all normal business communications will be made via email.

Please write legibly and ensure that all photocopies are clear and legible.

Please allow 5 business days for your application to be processed.

You will be notified by email when your account is approved and opened; accounts are opened when the initial order is made.

Incomplete or illegible applications will not be processed.

If you have not been notified of your account status within 15 business days of submitting your application, please resubmit your complete and legible application.


Retailer Accounts

Opening Order
Your opening order must be $250.00 before shipping is calculated. All opening orders must be paid for using a credit card.

Subsequent Orders
All subsequent orders must be a minimum of $100.00 before shipping is calculated. Orders not meeting this amount will be assessed a $25 fee.

Annual Purchase Requirements
Love, Lisa Handmade Knits retailers are required to meet an annual (rolling 12 months) purchase requirement of $750.00.

 

Cottage Industry Accounts

If you cannot meet the requirements of the Wholesale Account, you might meet the requirements of the Cottage Industry Account. At slightly lower discounts than the Retailer Account, We strive to give designers, knitters, other artisans and smaller business owners the ability to earn a profit with slightly lower discounts than the Retailer Account, and with lower opening order, subsequent order and annual purchase requirements.

Opening Order
Your opening order must be $125.00 before shipping is calculated. All opening orders must be paid for using a credit card.

Subsequent Orders
All subsequent orders must be a minimum of $50.00 before shipping. Orders not meeting this amount will be assessed a $15 fee.

Annual Purchase Requirements
Love, Lisa Handmade Knits cottage industry accounts are required to meet an annual (rolling 12 months) purchase requirement of $475.00.

Credit Cards
You are asked to use your credit card to purchase products from Love, Lisa Handmade Knits. Please submit the Credit Card Authorization form. This form authorizes Love, Lisa Handmade Knits to securely and confidentially keep your designated credit card information on file and to use this credit card as the primary method of payment once you have provided your credit card number. You will also need to provide your credit card information when placing your order.

Order & Shipping Confirmation
You will receive an order confirmation email when you place an order and a shipping confirmation email when your order ships.

Account Status & Review
The status of your account will be reviewed annually. In an effort to keep records accurate you may be asked periodically to provide updated information regarding the status of your business. Accounts showing no activity for more than one (1) year (from the date of account origination) will be closed. Accounts not meeting annual requirements will be closed.

Reinstating a Closed Account
To reinstate a closed account, a deposit must be made, which will be available as a store credit/gift certificate for future purchases on the website. A deposit of $500 must be made to reinstate a Wholesale Account that has been closed. A deposit of $300 must be made to reinstate a Cottage Industry Account that has been closed. The Opening Order amount will be applicable to the first reinstatement order for both types of accounts.

 

Business Information

Change of Ownership
If the business changes ownership, the new ownership is required to reapply for an account with Love, Lisa Handmade Knits. Any and all orders not shipped in the system submitted by the previous owners are canceled.

Store Relocation
If you relocate your business you will be required to update your account information or, at the discretion of Love, Lisa Handmade Knits, reaffirm your account status by updating all the required account information.

Submitting an Order
Web Orders: Web orders may be submitted on-line via the Love, Lisa Handmade Knits website (http://www.lovelisa.us) using the on-line store. Please read the Orientation Guide.

Order Modification
Orders may be modified up to, but not including, the 1st of the month, or the 16th of the month.

Free Shipping
Free shipping (ground) is available on orders where the net shippable total exceeds $150.00.

Expedited Shipping
Expedited shipping is available, but will be subject to the normal UK Ordering/Shipping Schedule, unless the entire order is currently in stock; shipping options are available on the website at checkout.

UK Ordering/Shipping Schedule
Any orders containing yarn that is NOT currently in stock will be ordered from the UK on the 1st and 16th of the month. All orders must be received on of before the 1st or the 16th to be in the qualifying order. The order placed on the 1st of the month will ship to you on or before the 15th of the month. The order placed on the 16th will ship to you on or before the 1st of the following month. See the website for expedited shipping options at checkout.

All orders containing yarn that is currently in stock will ship the next business day; see website for expedited shipping options at checkout.

Claims & Returns
Claims/returns must be submitted within 10 business days of receiving the merchandise. Returned items must be received within 20 business days of the claim. Shipping fees are non-refundable.

Customer Service
Please email wholesale@lovelisa.us for prompt Retailer/Cottage Industry customer service attention.

Reservations
All information submitted by the applicant shall be reviewed by Love, Lisa Handmade Knits and Love, Lisa Handmade Knits reserves the right to accept or reject the application and any or all supporting documentation at its sole discretion. Any such determination by Love, Lisa Handmade Knits shall be final. Love, Lisa Handmade Knits reserves the right to change the account application at its discretion for any reason. Love, Lisa Handmade Knits reserves the right to review and/or suspend or close any account at its discretion. Please complete the application (including the signature) and return it to Love, Lisa Handmade Knits. By submission of the application, the applicant agrees to adhere to all Love, Lisa Handmade Knits policies including but not limited to those provided above.

Permissions
If you are a Retail/Cottage Industry customer of Love, Lisa Handmade Knits and have an on-line site, you need permission from Love, Lisa Handmade Knits to publish any photographs, product descriptions or artwork.
Love, Lisa Handmade Knits and Yeoman Yarns products are subject to copyright, trademark and intellectual property laws.
If you place items for sale on your site, you may only do so with permission and under the following guidelines:

  • Photos must not be taken of products without approval. Photographs from our site may be used with permission.
  • Product descriptions must closely match the Love, Lisa Handmade Knits product descriptions, including any ownership rights.
  • Product and description must clearly state that it is a Love, Lisa Handmade Knits‘ or Yeoman Yarns product.
  • Pre-approval for product and descriptions must be submitted prior to posting information on-line.
  • You may not let other sites use our photos, descriptions, etc. (ex: drop ship, affiliate program, etc). Approval to use our product on-line is for your store only.
